About this Blog

This is a blog about epilepsy and the effects it has on the patient and family’s life.

I have lived with seizures for 22 years now, 8 yrs diagnosed, and I want to share my life of living with epilepsy. On May 30th 2009, I will be celebrating my one year Anniversary of being Seizure free and also my 1 year anniversary since my Anterior Temporal Lobectomy that took place at MCG (Medical College of Georgia), a level IV Epilepsy center in Georgia, and under the care of Dr. Anthony Murro (Neurologist) and Dr Mark Lee (Neurosurgeon). Which you’ll see I’ll be speaking very highly about in this blog and the great care that I recieved while I was under the care of MCG.

I’ll also be speaking about the safety procedures, the issues in today’s world that effect patients of Epilepsy, such as stigma in the work force and education, and so much more. If you have comments please don’t hesitate to comment. But please and I will say again please if it is Discrimination against disabilities rather it be epilepsy or any type of medical issue. Please keep them to yourself, basically if you don’t have something good to say, don’t say anything at all.

Thank You,

God Bless

Jeremy McCoy
